This Tudor-style home in Beverly Hills, California has five bedrooms and a half-court basketball court. Rihanna is expanding her kingdom once more.
The 33-year-old pop singer and businessman spent $10 million at the end of March for a 5,000-square-foot estate in Beverly Hills, California, according to property records. Adjacent to the Tudor-style property is the newly renovated 8,000 square foot mansion she spent $13.75 million for at the end of last year.
Because of her fashion and cosmetics brands, Forbes estimates that Rihanna has a net worth of $600 million, making her the richest female artist globally.
The two residences, which are located in the exclusive Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood, were purchased via trusts. Evan Jehle is listed as a trustee on the deeds for the two transactions, according to PropertyShark’s public records. He is a partner in the New York-based business management firm FFO and a member of the Global Advisory Board of Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation. Mr. Jehle could not be reached for comment at this time.
The first property the celebrity purchased was a white home with a seamed black roof that gave it the look of a modern farmhouse. Daniel Starr, an investor, thoroughly refurbished the estate. In 2016, Starr purchased the home for $4.3 million; the transaction was highlighted on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing.” Today, it has a light-filled indoor-outdoor design with white oak floors, many fireplaces, and tall shrubs to deter prying eyes.
Images of the house indicate that Rihanna’s most recent acquisition’s gardens overlook the renovated residence.
Meanwhile, selling images from 2015 show her new Tudor-style property has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, as well as exposed ceiling beams and wood features throughout, a half-basketball court, a sauna, and a swimming pool. Requests for comments from the vendors were not answered.
According to property records, it was last transferred in 2015 for slightly more than $5 million. The arrangement was initially reported by Dirt.
Rihanna recently returned to the United States from London, where she had been renting a lavish Victorian home in the city’s affluent St. John’s Wood neighborhood.
